Terms
Serenity is referred to above as “we” “us” “the chat” “here” and this includes the chat client, websites, and forums collectively.
“User” is a registered member of our chat and forums. “Admin” refers to our team of users who have responsibility for running Serenity, “Volunteer” refers to any users who have opted to assist the Admins in their duties.

By signing up for Serenity, you are hereby agreeing to these terms. Serenity and its Administration are not responsible for the words or actions of its users, Serenityand its Administration are not responsible for the content of user profiles, Serenity and its Administration are not obligated to display anyone’s art or creative content, Serenity and its Administration are not responsible for any transactions or exchanges held between users, Serenity and its Administration are not responsible for any interruptions of service, Serenity and its Administration are not responsible for any failure to communicate with users due to faulty contact information. All users of Serenity must be 18 years and older, and anyone found to be under may have their account removed. These rules are subject to change without notice, these rules apply to all aspects of the chat, website, and forums.
Privacy
By signing up for Serenity, some of your account information is stored in our databases as necessary. This information will not be released by Serenity to any outside party for any reason, and is used solely for the creation of user accounts and for contact purposes. Records of chat logs are saved in our databases but will not be consulted unless there is a severe issue on the chat that requires such an action. Serenity respects the privacy of its users, if any situation arises that requires sensitive information to be looked into, all users involved will be notified. Serenity is not responsible for any personal information users share over chat or in their profiles, all users are advised to keep sensitive information to themselves and exercise caution when meeting people over the internet. However, our administrative team reserves the right to ask a user for a date of birth or an age to ensure the rules are being followed and age limits are not being broken; before giving out your age ensure it is a member of the administrative team who has asked.

You may not steal, replicate, redistribute, decode, decompile, or otherwise violate the copyright of any artwork, coding, or intellectual material here on Serenity. Do not post any artwork from the Serenity website, chat, or forum without permission from the Creators.
User-submitted artwork and content retains its original copyright to its creator. By uploading your artwork to Serenity, it is held that you have the legal right to use that artwork here and have agreed to all the terms and rules. Any violation of this will result in the removal of said artwork. By submitting artwork or content to Serenity, the user is granting us permission to display the content on the chat, website, and forums, on the user’s behalf. User-submitted artwork and content will never be used for promotional or profitable purposes without consent from the copyright holder. Serenity is not responsible for any art theft committed by users, all art theft will be pursued and dealt with accordingly.
